Your data security and privacy are our top priorities
We only access what's necessary to provide our service. We never sell or share your information. Your data stays yours. We’ve designed SynciCal to put privacy and control back in your hands - where it belongs.
Each customer creates their own Google Calendar. That means:
We never create, host, or store your calendars - they belong to you entirely.
To enable syncing, you share your calendar with our Google Cloud service account. This account:
You can revoke or modify this access at any time through your Google Calendar settings.
The iCal feeds we sync from typically include only basic booking details. This includes:
No names, emails, or full contact information is ever accessed or stored by us.
Because iCal URLs reservations don’t include listing names, we ask you to provide the name of the listing you'd like to associate with the given iCal URL. This helps us ensure that calendar events are clearly labeled.
This naming is only used internally for mapping - it is not stored in any database, nor used for marketing, analytics, or any external purpose.
We don’t store your calendar data. We don’t share it. We don’t analyze it. We simply pass it through — securely — from your iCal feed into your Google Calendar.
Every sync operation runs in an isolated, short-lived compute environment, purpose-built for that one sync request. These environments are:
This ensures that:
Your data never lingers. It’s processed in-memory, pushed directly to your Google Calendar, and then the infrastructure is torn down. We treat your trust as a responsibility — not a resource.
